Structure

Pott Shrigley Chuch School governors will trial a flat structure of governance for 12 months from September 2023.

Instead of having committees the full team will meet twice a term - the first meeting will cover Leadership and Management, the second will cover Quality of Education. All meetings will be led by Jane Langdon, chair of governors. 

Our thinking is to ensure that each governor has a greater understanding of exactly what is happening in school, cut down on repeated information, reduce workload and review and adapt how we work as a governing board to be the most effective and work alongside the SDP.

Governors will still have Link Roles which I will be detailed below once finalised.
