Music in School

We follow the Kapow music scheme and ensure our children experince a broad and varied music curriculum throughout the year.

The children also have the opportunity to experience recorder and brass lessons in the summer term in class 2 and class 3.  This is a 12 week programme that is provided by Love Music trust.  This is funded by the PTA and a music grant annually.  

In the past twelve months our musical adventures have included: 

• Recorder lessons for class 2 with an end of year concert for parents (Love Music Trust)
• Brass lessons for ks2 (plastic instruments) again offering the chance of to perform (Love Music Trust)
• Come and play with the Halle (summer term)
• Come and sing with the Halle (spring term)
