We thought we'd share these comments which were recently shared on social media in response to a question from a prospective parent asking what parents thought of POtt Shrigley - we think they really enncapsulate the essence of our school from a parent perspective...

My daughter loves it... as a primary school its an utter delight! The class sizes are small so you know your child isn't going to be lost in a big, busy, noisy classroom and the teachers have more opportunity and time to spend with the children. My child was painfully at nursery but the school have been great with her and she has well and truly come out of her shell.
Former parent (current year 7 at High School)
My daughter left in the summer after we moved her for her final year of primary school. The staff worked wonders on her education where there were gaps. The teachers get to know each individual child and they do get more time spent with them as it is a small school. We felt very welcome and they really helped my daughter immensley. Would certainly recommend.
Year 2 and Year 5 parent
Both my children love their school as learning is made fun, engaging and interesting. The small size allows each child to really have a voice, and that voice is valued from teh lunchtime staff through to the headteacher. It's a great place to learn, explore and adventure.
