Welcome to the Spring Term 2026 for class 1
Happy New Year to all of our children and families!
This spring term, our class is diving into lots of exciting new learning
On Fridays, we will be swapping our Forest School sessions for gymnastics with Amy, building strength, balance and confidence.
In Science, we are beginning our journey as ‘Nature Protectors’, using our growing scientific knowledge to explore ways we can help care for the animals and birds around us and hopefully participating in the RSPB great garden birdwatch again.
In English, we are continuing with Drawing Club—Reception children will be encouraged to use their phonics to add words and short phrases, while our Year Ones will build on and extend their budding writing skills. Our Maths lessons will continue to develop our counting skills and calculation knowledge.
But, drumroll please... Our headline topic in Spring 1 is Dinosaurs, we are hoping to head out on a very special trip to see some 'real' dinosaurs up close!
As ever if you have any questions please reach out through class dojo or if you are a new parent here wondering what we could offer your child please contact our office and come and see for yourself! A warm welcome awaits.
