Happy New Year to all of our children and families!

This spring term, our class is diving into lots of exciting new learning

On Fridays, Year 2 will be having sessions for gymnastics with Amy, building strength, balance and confidence. Year 3 will be back at Firest School.

In Science, we are beginning the year with a unit on 'Birds' with a strong focus on the RSPB Garden Bird Watch.

In English, are new text is called The River —  children will be focussing on narrative and letter writing, putting into practise their phonic and spelling knowledge along with ever developing sentence structure skills.

We have a very exciting unit in History....The Great Fire of London.  Sadly, we are not taking a trip to Pudding Lane however we will be immersing ourselves in the lives of those during the fire and events that occured.
